Butter Baked Goods was founded in the autumn of 2007 by Rosie Daykin, who had been baking up a storm ever since she could hold a wooden spoon.

Originally located on Dunbar Street in Vancouver, BC, our bakery later moved to its current home in the heart of the MacKenzie Heights neighbourhood at 4907 Mackenzie Street, where we continue to serve up our signature baked goods and warm hospitality.

In the summer of 2021, Rosie passed the apron to Marion Van Keken, a passionate baker known for her deep-dish Dutch apple pie.

After several wonderful years, Butter Baked Goods proudly entered a new chapter in April 2025 under the ownership of Ryan O., a local businessman behind several beloved food & beverage establishments across the city. He is deeply passionate about the industry and is working on long-term strategic partnerships with various brands, product development & many exciting things ahead of the bakery's 20th anniversary. He pledges to maintain Butter's nostalgic charm, maintain the high quality recipes that have worked for several years, yet add in a layer of his own vision to ensure Butter sees its next 20 years. 

Today, Butter continues to celebrate its roots—serving up delectable baked goods, fresh lunches, seasonal treats, and some of the best coffee in town. We would love to welcome you to our café, open from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Saturday, and 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Sundays.

Start your day with a muffin or scone, drop by for a cozy lunch, or simply treat yourself to something sweet. Every day brings something a little different—and always delicious.
