What is the difference between ordering directly through Butter vs Doordash?
Ordering directly through our website provides you with the same goodies at the same prices you'll find in store at our bakery. You can order all of our items for free pickup and we are happy to ship our packaged goodies and cookbooks right to your door!
Doordash is a convenient option for those looking for local home delivery of cakes, pastries, and other items that cannot be shipped in the mail. Please note that our prices will vary when ordering via Doordash to help accommodate for their high processing fees.
Why can only some items be shipped to me directly from Butter?
At this time, we are only able to ship our packaged goodies (tea, coffee beans, marshmallows, etc) and cookbooks via mail. Cakes and pastries are currently available for free pickup or via Doordash.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Our current processing time for all orders is 2 to 4 business days.
Pickup orders should be ready within the processing timeframe above—you will receive an email from us once your order is ready to be picked up.
For orders shipped via Canada Post, please allow 3 to 7 business days for delivery following the processing time.
For Doordash orders, please refer to the timeline provided by Doordash.
How do I request a return or exchange?
As many of our items are made to order, most orders are not eligible for returns and exchanges.
If you have received an incorrect or defective item, please give our bakery a call at (604) 221-4333 and we'd be happy to help.
Why does my item look different than the photo?
Due to the nature of baked goods, two things are never quite the same. Each of our cakes and pastries are handcrafted, making these items perfectly unique to your order!
Can I update my shipping address?
If you have made an error in your shipping address, please give us a call at our bakery, (604) 221-4333, within 24 hours of placing your order to have it updated.
Can I cancel my order?
If you would like to cancel or modify your order, please give us a call at our bakery, (604) 221-4333, within 24 hours of placing your order to have it updated.
Please note, orders that have already been marked as shipped are no longer eligible for cancellations.
